The Executive Committee of the congregation is established by the church constitution and bylaws and consists of the officers of the congregation and the pastor(s). The committee is empaneled by the following positions on the Congregation Council:

• President
  
• Vice President
  
• Secretary
  
• Treasurer
  

The Executive Committee is presided over by the Council President.

The purpose of the Executive Committee is to set the agenda for Council meetings and to p erform other administraive duties as necessary.

Primary responsibilities of the committee include:

• Set agenda for meetings of the Congregation Council.
  
• Discuss, vet and debate ideas to be presented the Congregation Council.
  
• Fulfill the duties of the Staff Support Committee in the event that this committee is absent.
  
• Committee members are authorized to sign checks for the disursement of church funds.
  
• Members empanel and perform the duties of the Finance Committee.
