The Director of Christian Education of the congregation is established by the church constitution and bylaws.

This elected position on the Congregation Council oversees all aspects pertaining to Christian education within the congregation and even the community of God's Kingdom.

Primary charges include responsibilities such as:

• Maintain the importance of Christian education for all ages in the eyes of this congregation
  
• Recruit and enlist whatever auxiliary help and staffing is necessary to carry out the educational efforts of this congregation
  
• Constantly seek out opportunities to improve and enlarge educational efforts of this congregation
  
• Submit financial requirements to the Budget Committee to assure adequate funding of all educational efforts of this congregation
  
• Serve on the TLC Pre-School Advisory Board
  
• Preside over the Christian Education Committee

The director should be reliable, dedicated, and have some educational training or background as well as being willing to learn about the many and varied ways educational tasks can be carried out.
