The Tierrasanta Lutheran Church Preschool is a ministry of the church which has been serving the community for over 30 years. The preschool benefits 3- and 4-year olds with half-day classes and teaches foundational building blocks to prepare them for Kindergarten, including patriotism and religious studies.

The preschool has a director and other teachers as paid staff. They hold all neccessary certifications required to help your young children grow and learn.

As a ministry of the church the preschool if governed by an advisory board of directors including:

• TLC Director of Christian Education
  
• Preschool Director
  
• Volunteer members from the congregation
  

This board meets regularly to establish preschool policy, authorize capital expendatures, set goals and to assess progress towards those goals. The board works to keep the preschool financially solvent and compliant with regulatory agencies.

The board also creates reports and provides those reports via the Director of Christian Education to the church council and congregation.
