This committee is established by the church constitution and bylaws to assist and support the Treasurer and Congregation Council set the spending plan for the upcoming year before submitting it to the congregation for final approval.

Charges of the committee include responsibilities such as:

• Establishing a reasonable anticipation of expected income
  
• Establishing a spending plan based on obligations, priorities and missional need
  

Members of this committee should be reliable, dedicated, and have some business acumin for identifying needs and strategizing growth while considering all the varied interests of the church.

Members of this committee are generally members on the Congregation Council and can also include voting members of the congregation.

This can be a great opportunity for you to volunteer and get involved with church leadership with minimal comittment and get your opinions heard early on when crafting the next year's budget. You are invited to join and lend your talents and insights.
