The Director of Youth of the congregation is established by the church constitution and bylaws.

This elected position on the Congregation Council oversees and promotes all aspects of involving youth in Christian life, growth and fellowship.

Primary charges include responsibilities such as:

• Develop, implement and monitor programs to minister to the needs of the youth of this congregation.
  
• Integrate service projects and recreational or fellowship activities.
  
• Emphasize integrity, concern for others, and good sportsmanship in all activities.
  
• Preside over the Youth Committee.
  

The director should be dedicated, reliable, patient and understanding; be able to communicate with young people, and to organize

and control youth activities and be willing to undertake necessary training.
