Operation Digital is an initiative started in 2025 to bring the church into the next generation of using technology as an evangelical partner.

The philosophy of Operation Digital is to advance ministry by integrating technology to

• Deburden humans from manual or repetitive tasks
  
• Increase efficiency / Reduce errors
  
• Automate business processes
  
• Centralize church data
  
• Represent business groups (like committees) as data entities for use in business processes and automation.
  
• Maintain a functional and useful website
  
• Maintain a functional and useful mobile app
  
• Maintain a digital membership directory
  
• Improve the ability of members to communicate with each other
  
• Integrate with 3^rd party technology platforms to leverage value
  
• Integrate digitally with the community for networking, creating value and marketing
  
• Generally promoting the Kingdom of God
  

Operation Digital represents a church dynamic where everyone in the congregation assumes missional ownership of the technology and the church's ministries. This is not to say that everyone needs to be a technology expert but that everyone can use technology resources to further their own faith, to promote faith to others and be part of ideation and provide feedback, essentially forming an active user group.

Anybody can join Operation Digital (either as paid staff or as a volunteer) to help provide hands-on skills and services (beyond the scope of an active user group) for researching, developing and maintaining technology systems.
