The Military Outreach Committee (MOC) was born over ten years ago as part of the fruit of a multi-month self-discovery process (the TAG process) to define, clarify and re-invent our church. After going through this process the congregation defined four "high value" areas representing our congregation's core values which drive our daily faith walk.

One of these core values was appreciating and honoring our nation's military service members who sacrifice so that we can live in freedom and practice our faith freely. As Tierrasanta is home to one of the largest military home bases in the nation (Murphy Canyon) the MOC committee dedicates itself to serving not only active members of the military but also supporting their spouses and family.

Throughout the year the MOC committee holds various drives to help supply military families with extra food around the holidays, clothes and school supplies for the children and occassionally hosts meals or events on campus for military families.

MOC is not just a community charity but is a ministry of Christian service within our neighborhood which seeks to spread the Word of God and to live out our mission of
